The more popular: Administrative Assistant. Why? It's basically another name for clerk or secretary. Medical Administrative Assistants on the whole will earn more... but it is more difficult to get because those are very good jobs.

there is a large scale of pay for both jobs... I have made anywhere from 8-15 as an admin and I didn't do medical but I did dental and made $14 but I have known people to make more and less....

they both work about the same for the job wise but i do think that the medical adiministrative pays more
