My sister gave me a nice leather couch which we really like the looks of. Her dog used to sit on one side of it and I have not been able to get the smell out of it. I used just a generic leather cleaner. Anyone have any better ideas???????? Thanks, Craig

If all possible set the cushions outside for a few days....In the sun....If the cushions are not removable then try to put the whole thing out in the fresh air for a few days....Other than that I`m not sure....
I know putting things outside in the sun will kill bacteria.....You might try adding some vegetable oil on the leather before putting it outside to prevent it from being dried out.....Vegatable oil is very good for leather...to prevent it from drying out and cracking

We just picked up a 4 peice leather set at a garage sale. It was really dirty - We used scented dish soap and them Holy Cow Cleaner. Make sure you rinse with wet cloths a lot to get all the soap out, then use a leather conditioner (I got mine at the auto parts store) My couch looks like new. Don't hold back on the conditioner. Water only causes permanent damage to leather if you don't put the oils back into it after cleaning. Good luck

Once upon a time when when I got my first dog, I would constantly put him on the couch behind my mothers back and she would always yell at me to not put him on the couch.. and I never listened. Then one day my mom wasn't home and I put him on the couch to play, I was watching tv next to him and I felt something wet.. he had peed on the couch. From then on I never put my dog on the furniture. From then on I've taught him to not go on the furniture and he has slowly learned. And we lived happy ever after.
