put little pieces of Oreo cookie that has set open and are a little stale. set pieces 3 feet apart from road to center of yard at center of yard make a circle of cookie 6 feet in diameter. now here is the hard part since we all know how well gnomes can smell you must do this part naked because gnomes can smell the detergent we wash our cloths in. set in the center of the cookie circle with a small butterfly net. you have to set completely still. wait for the gnome to eat the cookie to the circle don't rush it wait till he is right in front of you and then pounce with the net.
OK now you have him. he will fight at first until he know you wont hurt him. just have the rest of the oreo's and some milk he will stay. but don't complain to me when your whole yard is full on gnomes because once one moves in more always come.

You have to use the right gnomenclature.

I gnow this sounds gnutty, but they are gnomatic by gnature and must be gnicely coaxed into your garden.
