Here are the instructions. I hope that they work for you.

Uninstalling Internet Explorer 7

To uninstall Internet Explorer 7 and restore Internet Explorer 6 when using Windows XP or Windows Server 2003

1. Click Start, and then click Control Panel.
2. Click Add or Remove Programs.
3. You might have to CHECK the box that says SHOW UPDATES
4. Scroll down to Windows Internet Explorer 7, click it, and then click Change/Remove.

If you cannot find Internet Explorer 7 in Add or Remove Programs, click Start, click Run, type
%windir%\ ie7beta3\ spuninst\ spuninst.exe.
(I added spaces after the \ so it would show here)
and then press ENTER.

For more information, check this page at the Microsoft website. http://msdn.microsoft.com/ie/releasenotes/

If you have further trouble, you might try the RESTORE thing in the System Tools folder and go back a few days before you made this terrible mistake.

Good luck

I just read an article that said you can get rid of it and IE 6 will magically reappear. If I remember right, just go into "Add/Remove Programs" and find "Windows Internet Explorer". After you remove it and reboot, IE 6 will be back, good as new. I saw the article somewhere on Yahoo's site, it was a review of IE 7, shouldn't be too hard to find again.

I just learned this myself: Go to Start-Control Panel-Add/Remove programs, click "Show updates" then scroll down to the IE update and click Remove. Then reboot your computer and IE 6 will be back. Yep, it is that easy!

Good luck and have a great day!

try Control Panel -> Add/Remove programs -> navigate to IE7 and click uninstal

p.s. it should roll back to IE6 but I haven't tried that one yet, so this is more like an educated guess

Good luck

IE7 is a pain!! Major pain. Just restore your computer to a date before you installed IE7. You do this through the Control Panel. Hurry....IE7 is a major pain.
