the answer seems easy to say but I'm sure it isn't, I've tried my best to have both at the same time, but seems quite impossible when trying to feel it,

Self-esteem and humility are similar but different things. Humility mostly goes to not promoting yourself or trying to run others' lives. Self esteem goes to knowing you're good and not letting others try to run your life. So, yes you can cultivate humility and self-esteem at the same time.

It's certainly possible. Humility does not mean insecurity. Being humble means not thinking you are better than other ppl. Having self esteem means not thinking you are worse than other ppl. The ppl who are most confident in themselves can achieve both of these things.

yes, you can. self-esteem is just feeling good about yourself, feeling comfortable with who you are. but being cocky is like taking it to the extreme - thinking that you are better than everyone else, so you have humility to sort of keep you in check. it's sort of like, you feel good about yourself, but you know that others are just as important as you are. that's how you keep them both in balance (or thats what i do at least).
