I don't know anything about his skill with firearms, but that isn't part of the job description of President of the US.
What does this have to do with mental stability?
If you want examples of mental instability, just review tapes of Gore, Dean & Clinton in recent years.

I keep thinking he's going to accidentally shoot himself with Saddam Hussein's gun that was taken from him after his surrender. Bush keeps it as a souvie in the Oval Office, apparently. Wouldn't that be ironic if that really happened, especially as The Sitcom President can't even handle pretzels, segways, or doors.

I don't see that as being a measurement of mental stability. Gun accidents can happen to anyone. And it does. (police officers, military men and women, gun collectors)
