It happens in all cells except in making gametes (sperm, egg, polen...)

In all somatic cells that divide. Neurons, for example, do not divide so there is no mitosis with these. Mitosis does not occur in the gametes, egg and sperm, or in bacteria. Bacteria undergo binary fission.

Only in somatic cells (body cells) and not reproductive cells. they (reproductive cells) go throught meiosis.
