" To know lifes purpose, you must know life's creator." - I forget who said that but it is a favorite of mine. The Bible says that we were created to have fellowship with God, and also to both worship and serve him. Jesus said that the greatest commandment was to " love the Lord your God with all your heart...," and, the second greatest: "love your neighbor as yourself." So I would say that we were created to love; to love one another and to love God.
