My cousin and I were driving home last night from a club and on our way back home we saw a bright light shoot by into the woods. It looked like a bright rock and we thought it might have been a falling star or something to that effect. It really freaked us out but we both saw it so we know we aren't seeing things. It came from the sky and just fell into the woods. It was so fast that I couldn't see it that well but it was definitely a bright rock looking object. Someone pleaseee give me some ideas as to what it would be before I go insane, haha.

Hi. If it was a meteor (and we are in the middle of the Orionid meteor shower this weekend) you would see a fast moving light possibly with a train (that's what the afterglow is called) behind it. Exciting, no?
