I think the British government has to many bleeding heart liberals, that is why the country is over ran with Muslims, I like what a member of Australia's government said to the Muslim communities, their is no other law but Australian law, Muslim laws do not apply here, and if you don't like it then maybe you had better find another country to move to. And I think the British government should say the same, and the United States also.

Good question. I think it's because of the way the whole system has been run for hundreds of years, and how corrupt it is really, although I have to ask the question of who actually does run the govt. To my mind, it's the big businesses that run the government, and the politicians are just their corrupted servants. I guess people get into politics for the right reasons, but in order to be successful and have power, they have to forego their principles one by one, until they're just playing the game. Big business has got too big, capitalism is not a sustainable way to run a country, the government is just doing its best to prolong the economy and stay in power, despite impending global environmental disaster, war everywhere etc. etc. Spin and propoganda my friend, is all the government can give us. Any decent goverment with sizeable enough cojones would do what's right for it's people and the planet they live on, not just protect the privileges of the few. Take the power back, everything should be run on a more community based level. Anarchy and peace!

LOL...........sorry, but that question was so patently silly it actually made me laugh :-) The current British Government, run by extremists? LOL they are so extreme that they couldn't know the skin off a rice pudding! They can't make decisions, are in-fighting and are afraid to offend any group other than indiginous English :-) So, how extreme is that?

Extremists? Muddled, weak, dishonest a few exceptions. Presently sadly undemocratic. Seems an outsider question.

It isn't.

Tony Blair is about as extreme as a rice pudding. The guy is totally spineless. Thats why the country's in a mess, we've got Muslims blowing us up and everyone is fed up with him and can't wait for him to leave.

It Isn't, it is run by sycophancy and apathy.

There are Right wing hawks yes, but the rest are mesmerised rabbits in their headlights.

When you have power climbing within Political Parties you will have sycophants.

er, it isn't. Just look at the policies being touted around. There is very little differentiation between Conservative and Labour. The only arguaments centre around who thought of the policy first and who's version is better.
