I don't get the Sci-Fi channel and as consequence can only watch my favorite show, Stargate SG-1 once it is out on dvd. I have been able to see through the ninth season. I know Jack leaves, but it doesn't say if he leaves so he can be with Sam. I have wanted them to be together through many of the seasons. Can anyone tell me if they definately are together? It's implied, but I'd like to know for sure. Thanks:)

Yeah, he dosn't leave because of Sam, he leaves because he takes over Gen Hammands possition as the head of Homeworld Security in Washington, DC.

I kinda agree with you about the whole thing between the two being implied fairly early in season 9... I think the NID agent (Barrett) askes her if she's signle or not, and she says something like not exactly, she does imply that she is with someone and as a shipper it kinda implies that its with Jack, kinda sorta, I don't know.

But no, they're not together and no new references or other things like that have been said (although in the 200th episode there are a few references but those can't be taken seriously... i wont tell you what they are cuz you said you haven't seen season 10 and i don't want to spoil it)

I can't remember why Jack left, I think however it was because he was tired of working for the Stargate program (Richard Dean Anderson left to spend time with his family). Last I remember Sam was being propsed to by the undercover Fed.
Last I saw they weren't together except in a dream sequence.
