I think that friendship needs patience - did you ask her why she was reading a novel?

You should have not done it. I have family and friends on mine and they know that often i am busy on here doing work, art, reading or watching the news or playing a game. I too realize if they do not respond they are busy too. The computer is used for so many things these days and when we all have the time we can sit and chat together but when life calls you got to be a bit more understanding. Put your friend back on. I am sure too she must be going through a lot with the new job and everything. It could be she needed some quiet time. We can all use that at times. Good luck!

Isn't friendship a giving thing and not just a taking thing??
I just would of not talk to her then and went to bed and then the next time that you talked to her I would of told her how I felt .
Things done in the heat of the moment are usually regretted........

I'd chat with her first to see what's really going on. Tell her you like her so much you stay up late just to chat with her. At least give her a second chance.

Well she can still message you even if she is deleted....was that the first time she was preoccupied??? If so it seems a Lil rash of you but i can understand your frustration...but is she aware that you were staying awake to talk to her???

*So maybe your friend just didn't feel like chatting at the moment-Don't be too hasty till you find out for sure.Sometimes friendships are hard to come by.*

that wasnt right, if you still were answered that means they were paying attention to you but they wanted to read their book, but i have to say that the reader should have marked themselves as away or busy so you knew that they didnt want to talk at the moment

I think you now probably only have two friends left on your messenger list. This wouldn't surprise me either.

I wouldn't have done that but if you wanted to, whatever it's your life, go ahead and cut people out for ridiculous reasons.

I think if this is your biggest life dilemma, you might need to go ahead and stick your tongue in an electrical outlet.
