I'm no Dr., but I am a certified personal trainer, this does sound like it could be a case of low blood sugar. It could also be from a plethora of other conditions. To eliminate blood sugar problems, we need more information about what you eat and when you eat it. Not eating enough good sources of complex carbohydrates can leave you feeling light-headed and feel this way. Please give us a sample day of your eating. As always, don't forget to get a second opinion from a Dr. that specializes in the field.

Hello, I have the same problem you do ,just not as frequent. It is not diabeties nor hypoglycema. The problem you are describing is this... If you eat a breakfast with high sugar content or drink coffee with sugar, or some recieve some form of sugar when you start your day, you raise your blood sugar level up really fast. Your body reacts to bring your blood sugar level back down to normal by producing insulin. When this happens, depending on how much sugar you have consumed, you blood sugar can drop real fast,( below normal level) causing you to have a shakey feeling or a faint, dizzy feeling. I would suggest eating a more balanced diet with less sugar intake and have a few small snacks in between meals. It helps me alot.

If the dr tests show everything is ok, u gotta look a little closer to home. How much caffeine are u drinking? Try cutting back. How much sleep r u getting, try getting a little more. How much water r u drinking, drink a little more. Try to notice what u did in the half hour or hour before the feelings start. You may still have something, but u have to help the drs focus on what could be causing this. good luck

When you went to the doctors did they do a blood sugar test on you? It could be that your blood sugar drops many times during the day and that is why you feel shaky and perhaps to the point of fainting. Diabetics get this sort of thing as do those with hypoglycemia. If the doctors didn't take any blood (like a pin prick in your finger or so) have them check for that.

You may want to try on your own too to see if it is your sugar levels. If you feel those symptoms coming on try getting a piece of candy or drinking juice and see if you feel better.

In either case though do have them check you blood sugar levels!

okay. here... let it be known that doctors are all stupid and the tests they run. arent always right. but ill put my input about your situation in. so it could be your blood sugar being to low. in order to keep it up. snack throughout the day. healthy snacks apples nuts fruit veggies... you know. not crappy things for you. those dont do any good. or it could be the second. your not getting enough oxygen. i know it sounds weird but its true the hemoglobin in your cfells which carries the oxygen might have shrunk from lack of vitamin A and iron. are you a vegitarian. because if you are. increase your intake of vitamin A to stabalize your iron levels. and if your not vegitarian. go eat some red meat. not alot but a serving size should do swell. make sure you're getting nough protein food and water. water is key you may just be dehydrated. that also happens when you get dizzy. and dont drink gatorade sports drinks any of those because its not good for you. yes, they stabalize your electrolights but they also severely dehydrate you instead of doing what they claim, keeping you hydrated. lay off the caffine too. it can also dehydrate you. and i would also sudjest that you keep a log of your food and water/drink intake and also your exercise and mark off when you feel dizzy. if you do this. you may be able to see a pattern in why your getting dizzy. if its your nutrition your water intake maybe your also not absorbing all the water you drink to. if so. stay away from foods that soak up alot of water. have reasonable proportions but dont indulgde in one kind of food. bread takes the water outa your digestive tract. do you also feel either constipated or nautious too? that can also be a sign of dehydrations.
.in a nutshell.
-keep the food/drink/exercise journal
- drink water
- never believe in doctors go by your instinct. if you think somethings wrong. you're probably right no one knows yuor own body better then you

Having worked with children of all ages, I would say that this is very normal. From my experience, you can expect this to continue for quite some time. Typically the number of times a child has a BM will start to decrease between 2 and 3 years old. If you're concerned though, ask your child's pediatrician...never hurt to be sure.
