HELP! I deleted my IPOD directory how do I get it back?

I accidently removed my ITUNES folder from my computer and from the recycle bin. Is there a way to take the library of videos/songs that are on my Ipod back to my computer?I thought if I just plugged it in they would go back but that didn;t work. They are all in my Ipod, how do I get em back to my PC?

Get a new IPOD with a better memory.
