Is battlefield 2142 off your list of games to buy since you found out it has in game advertising?

Seems there's a big controversy over EA using in game advertising and collecting anonymous info to provide region specific ads. Does this bother you? Do you think it's spyware?
I believe that you will see this in all games in the near future.

Am I the only one that thinks when you have a war game in the middle of a city it is MORE realistic to have billboards with actual advertisements than just generic phony looking crap. I personally don't mind the idea myself.

No,its just the future of games. I loved BF2,so I'll probally pick it up when I up grade my videocard.
