The Sabres are doing well and I hope it continues to get them to the playoffs and deep within them as well.
They will have their losses and losing streaks. Lets hope they have less then other teams in their division.

It's a little early to start engraving their names on the cup. While the Sabres are off to a great start, one of your reponders correctly pointed out that come playoff time, it is usually the team with the fewest injuries and the hottest goaltender that goes all the way. Buffalo is a good young team but Minnesota, San Jose and Anaheim are all off to great starts as well. If the Sabres make it to the finals, they will have had to earn it, no one earns the cup in October. Good luck to your choice though. GO OILERS

The Sabres have 4 Great lines not just 1 or 2 like most teams as long as Our goaltending stays Great and Our Defense stays Awesome, and all Our Lines keep scoring the way They are We will go all the way and WIN THE STANLEY CUP...

The Sabers are off to an excellent start but i think the Edmonton Oilers will finish what they started last year and bring the cup home. It will be all the sweeter since Pronger is gone, we dont need him. GO OILERS GO!

I read a very good analysis that says that Buffalo is well positioned this year, and they certainly have a chance.
The whole thing is such a crap shoot though, it is hard to make a good prediction. Who is healthy and who has a hot goaltender come playoff time?

Maybe, it will be the sabres. but, here's some them I think might win the Cup besides the sabres. Wild, Devils, and Blackhawks.
