I want a performance exhaust, but Banks stingers aren't being made any more that I know of, and seem hard to get your hands on one. I don't want to know about turbos, just exhaust systems, or intakes. Also are ther any companies that make headers for these engines?

One of the reasons Banks ceased production is that they don't really produce that much more power for the buck. Sales were flat.
Intakes really don't increase the performance that much on diesel either.
Diesel engines are controlled differently than gas engines. Diesel uses a fuel control rather than fuel/air control, and therefore have no throttle plates. This being the case, the plenum (intake) is always at near atmosphere.
SOME gains can be observed with some modifications of exhaust and intake, but the biggest gains for the buck are the Tuners and Cat-Back exhaust.

Good Luck

They make a kit for the Ford powerstroke engine called the Dyna kit. Not sure what it entails but I think its a major turbo charger and a few other do dads. My friend raced a Ford with this modification with his Hemi powered dodge and the Ford blew his doors off!
So I'm sure they make a kit for your truck! Maybe not Dyna but someone does.

You should put your question to either PEP BOYS or to American association of antique cars. Also, try the GM historical museum.
Good luck

check K&N if they don't already make something just send in a request for your specific vehicle. i spoke to a K&N rep at HIN Orlando a few weeks ago and he said that they check requests for specific vehicles and when they get enough requests i believe they begin making them for that vehicle.
