My husband and I are trying to conceive...and I know it is too early to take a pregnancy test. It is not time for my period yet. But here's what I want to know...how many women had very early symptoms of pregnancy? I have had the following so far...slight cramping (not like period cramps), my water tastes like dirt, my coffee has a metallic taste, and I'm nauseaus almost all the time. What do you think? Is that normal? Has the same thing happened to anyone else?

The thing about what you wrote that really stood out to me, was the taste of your coffee. Naturally, your body resists caffine, tobacco, and other harmful substances when pregnant. It was really easy for me to quit smoking when I was pregnant (even before I found out I was pregnant), because my body just didn't want it anymore. So I would say there is a high chance you are pregnant!

Sometimes you can believe you are and mind over matter will kick in. Wait until you are about 5 days late, before you try and take a pregnancy test. That happened to me a few times. I thought I was pregnant, and it turned out I wasn't. Until I stopped thinking I was and wow I was. So just wait until you are late, because pregnancy tests get expensive after a while.

I am a nursing student and I have learned that pregnancy symptoms can occur as soon as a week after you conceive. My advice to you is call your doctor and explain the situation. GOOD LUCK!!! I hope everything works out the way you guys want it to.

You have to a pregnancy test and go to a doctor now! The same symptoms have been happening to my sister and she is pregnant so i suggest that u have a pregnancy test!

Sounds just like the symptoms I had. I used the "First Response" pregnancy test cause you can get the earliest results - I'm not sure if you have that one where you live.

Pregnancy symptoms vary from woman to woman, just because you feel that way doesnt mean that you are, however, if you feel like it go to your doctor to get a pregnancy test and then youll know for sure.

I did. I had period cramping but no blood 5 days befor I was supposed to start..

do you puke a lot? that usually happens when people get pregnant they just keep puking every like 5 minutes sometimes
