Some years ago I read an article about a person in California who had healed herself back to health from a cancer condition with laughter. How is that possible? Does anyone know about this therapy?

Thanks everyone for your help.

Absolutely. For validation, Yohoo search "Patch Adams" and read about him and his life work.

Yes!
Have you ever been in a situation where it was very tense, but then someone makes a humorous comment to break the ice? What results is melting of tension and relaxation.
Laughter heals by allowing the body's own innate life force to be stimulated. True laughter can only come when it is felt. Using jokes to cover up pain is not a good idea, as that energy will be enhanced.

I think it's all in your mindset. If you believe you'll be healed then you will... Laughter is great. You strengthen your abdominal walls and exercises your lungs when you laugh and you never know how much disease you can conquer just by laughing!

Yes, it is possible. Laughter is not a substitue for medical treatment.
