Ive had urine problems for a while, foggy urine, sometimes with an odor. Ive also had really bad back pain for a while too. And sometimes I feel like Ive got the flu, but I dont.

Then almost a week ago I had vaginal bleeding that wasn't my period. Now I have it again and Im not even sure if it is my period. Becuase I still dont think its due for another week, and its like spotting and sometimes its alot though. But now I have cramps but its not like normal period cramps, its like sharp pains.

I am 18 yrs old in NE, where you have to be 19 to be an adult. My dad has ALS so my mom is always busy with him and a while ago when I told her I wanted to goto the hospital she said she cant take me and I cant take myself because I dont have a military ID card to get on the base hospital. IDK what to do? Because I dont wanna drag her to the emergancy room if its nothing but I feel like somethng is inside me pulling and stabbing on things in there. IDK how else to explain it? same w/ my back

Just go to the hospital. They won't just turn you away.

This sounds like a severe urinary tract infection. Call the emergency room and ask to speak to a triage nurse. This doesn't sound like 'nothing'. Explain your homelife situation. If the hospital is behind the times and doesn't have a triage nurse to speak with, just go to the ER. Ask if your mom needs to be there with you or if you can go on your own because you are 18yrs old. Hospitals can have different 'rules' for age of consent.
I've gone to the ER by myself when I was 15 years old, and my mother wasn't available. However, I'm from Canada.

This is not going to get better on its own, you can become VERY ill if you have pylonephritis. Then your mom will have 2 ill people to look after. A severe urinary tract infection is not a STD, so don't be worried that your mom or anyone at the ER will think badly of you.

Take care,

Definitely sounds like a urinary tract infection.. they can make you miserable! back pain, urinary pain, pain when you urinate, even spotting blood, just all around feeling like cr*p. You need to go have a urinalysis done. You may have a kidney stone or something. Your mother better take it seriously and get you a Dr appointment ASAP. She should know by the symptoms what you are experiencing. Most women have at some point had a UTI and they HURT. Do you have to be 19 to go to the local health dept? I cant stress enough how important it is for you to get to the doctor. Just have your mom call and make the appointment for you, maybe she wont have to be present when you go.

In addition to the well-advised suggestions above concerning a visit to your doc for a possible UTI, your symptoms also sound like possible endometritis (NOT ENDOMETRIOSIS - the two are very different). Endometritis is a potentially serious infection that can spread and leave permanent damage if left untreated. Whatever the case, you need to see a doctor to get the proper diagnosis and treatment before it becomes a truly *serious* matter. Feel better.

Sounds like you might have a UTI (bladder infection) and it's possible a vaginal infection too. Try to get to see a doctor, they can test your urine and do a pelvic exam/culture testing at the same time. Do you have a temperature? This would indicate infection too?

You have complicated body parts that are susceptible to various bacteria and infections... and ignoring the obvious is not cool. Whether you're 18 or 19, start being the adult you are, and do whatever it takes to get medical attention. Good luck with that.

I think this is definitely an issue worth taking to the Doctor. It's sweet to think of your mother but i think you should see someone. My Ex-boyfriend's sister was around your age and had the same type of troubles and she turned out to be pregnant. Is this a possibility for you? also My current boyfriends mother had the same thing and she was diagnosed with an EXTREMELY rare blood disease, the doctor told her it was a fatal disease if it wasn't treated so i really think you should go to the doctor.

You either have a bad UTI or an STD, but it sounds more like the UTI(urinary tract infection), sweetie. Get offline and take your butt to the ER right now! Please before you really be sick. What you have is very serious, young lady and your momma needs to be ashamed of herself for not being more concerned. Get medical attention immediately! Keep me posted.

You asked the same question earlier, and got a reasonable answer - you have a lot of symptoms which could add up to something that needs checking out.

Tell your mom what's wrong - tell her you're scared and want to see a doctor. It's OK to have needs too!
