I build with Yahoo! SiteBuilder. Some pages have the left to right scrolling arror and some do not. I want to switch my home page
(index.html) to a page that does have a left to right scroll arrow for cosmetic reasons. If I switch the index page, will that mess me up, as far as visitors being able to find my home page? What I plan to do is rename the index page, go over to the page I want to swap it with, and rename it index.html. Will that work?

DO THIS

DELETE YOUR INDEX.html PAGE AND MAKE A NEW ONE AND NAME IT index.html

That will surely work.

The horizontal and vertical scrollbars are normally only shown by a browser when the page being displayed exceeds the size of the browser window. As far as swapping index file names around, the only impact would be during the short period when no index.html file is actually in existance.
