Stretch marks are caused by the skins inability to meet the growth of your body. IE, stop gaining weight. A little hard to do if you're pregnant huh? My advice is to rub cocoa butter on the areas that are typically prone to stretchmarks. ( ie. the tummy, thighs and "love handles") There is actually a product by Palmers that is called something like Palmers Stretch Mark Fading Cream... it's basically just cocoa and shea butter. I would invest in some cocoa butter and some vitamin E lotion, both are available at local retailers.
Rub it in thouroughly day and night. It might not eliminate the existance but it will probably help the appearance and severity of them.

Palmers cocoa butter have bought out a cream for pregnancy to help prevent stretch marks also bio oil. i did the cocoa butter am and bio oil pm. Also vit e supplements will help. I have no stretch marks and put on just over 3 stone. it may not be down to those products but has got to be worth a try. Bio oil is good for reducing them after too if you do get any marks. Not sure how pregnant you are but start straight away

You can't really do anything to stop stretch marks. Keeping the skin supple by using a moisturiser (any kind) or baby oil can help reduce them but if you are going to get them then you will. Take them a physical reminder of your baby when he/she is not around and see them as something special your body has done rather than the 'scars' a lot of women see them as.

If you have the type of skin that is going to get stretch marks, it doesn't matter what you do, you will still get them! Go on how you mum is and then you will get an idea. My friend put on about 15kg when she was pregnant and didn't get any, I put on 6kg and got loads! We both did the same thing, cocoa butter and stretch mark cream.

Easy I know how to reduce stretch marks by almost half! Raspberry leaf tea! It helps stretch the skin. Drink as much as you like. Just make sure it's the real stuff. When you get further along drink more. Best of luck!

Sadly the only thing you could do is maybe pick your parents before you are born. If you don't come from a line of people with elastic skin, then you are going to get stretch marks no matter what you do.
Put lotion on it and try not to scratch.
Good Luck

I don't know if you can't really stop getting stretch marks, but try using cocoa butter everyday.....that's what I do and I haven't had stretch marks yet.

Not everybody gets stretch marks but you'll be very lucky if you don't, When i was pregnant with my little boy i looked like a zebra and they were really red, but they faded and then when i fell pregnant with my twin girls they didn't show up as much.
Good luck x
