Rock band Evanescence, who created a storm amongst American Christians by disavowing their spiritual roots, won the Grammy Award for best new artist this week

No i dont think they have but they defffinitley deserve one . Evanescence as im sure you know if youre a fan of them have some really good songs with very good lyrics

I believe they did. Have you heard "The Open Door" that album is soooooooooooooooo cool! I love the song "Sweet Sacrifice" I could really identify with it.

They won Best Hard Rock Performance ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grammy_Award_for_Best_Hard_Rock_Performance ) and Best New Artist ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grammy_Award_for_Best_New_Artist#2000s ), both in 2004.
