Yes, but I don't see why you would go through the trouble, unless it's a pen you really like. You could also get creative with the duct tape, like the people who use it on their clothes, and make it look like a fashion statement.

You can do that but the tape will eventually start to peel off and you will have to change the tape over and over again. I would suggest superglue, one application and you're good to go.
