Urgentttt. Someone mentioned, at this site, "bubbling air through Calcium Hydroxide would cause Calcium Carbonate to form - removing the Carbon Dioxide from the air." But I can't get any information this. If you can get info on that calcium hydroxide solution, PLEASE PLEASE tell me!

If there is another way to get rid of CO2, also please tell me.

there are people pulling your leg. I have measured gases for 30 yrs and CO2 was 1 to 2 parts per million then and now it is still the same . What is your trouble u are listening to the wrong people. Go measure it with a good calibrated instrument.

The best way to get rid of CO2 is to plant more trees.

Contrary to popular belief, CO2 emmissions are actually down to half of what they were when we were burning coal in the early years, yet consumption is 3 times as high.

George Bush recently jumped on board the idea of Sequestering. This is the process of removing and storing CO2 from the atmosphere by filtering it out and releasing the unnecessary gasses. The CO2 is then brought to the sea floor and introduced to a group of corals, which hold the CO2.

This is different than the idea of just "waiting" for the ocean algae to absorb the CO2, in that it is an active response.

We can decrease the "other side of the equation," by reducing CO2 emissions from human activities.
