Ask him, if he doesn't like it then respect his wishes.

The question is ? what are you texting about, money, business, or him... If you are telling him about issues that are taking place in your current relationship:: than yes u r cheating. There is a reason why you and this other person are textin each other. Im sure you have better things to do with your time instead of passing notes to someone that you don't really care about. Maybe your boyfriend is not ful-fillin your needs. Every woman NEEDS 3 THINGS FROM A MAN, AND IF HE DOESN'T PROVIDE ALL 3 SHE WILL GO ELSEWHERE FOR THEM. 1. GOOD CONVERSATION,2/ MONEY TO FEEL SPECIAL (SIMPLE THINGS), 3. GOOD SEX

While this may not be considered actual "cheating" it might lead too cheating. If you have a boyfriend what in the world are you doing texing another guy in a different state? !! If you don't want a serious relationship with your boyfriend, you need too tell him. It will save you and him both a lot of hearache.

Depends on what you are texting each other. How did someone from another state get your number? Does your boyfriend know about this? If you wouldn't let your boyfriend know about it and what is being said, then yes you could say it is a form of cheating.Every body has their own opinion of cheating...mine is...anything that you say or do that you wouldn't do or say in front of your mate is cheating. There are several forms of cheating.

no. texting is no different that playing video games or fantasizing... its only cheating if you travel to meet the guy and physically cheat with him... and THATS only cheating if you return to the guy at home and say that there is no other. Fantasy is written words, acting in reality isn't fantasy.

No, of course it's not cheating. Kissing, making out, having sex of any description with said non-boyfriend while you have a boyfriend, now that WOULD BE cheating.

As long as your conversations are on the level. Like, as long as you're not saying stuff of a sexual nature or "I love you" or stuff like that then sure, you should be able to talk to other guys.
