If it just does it when you first start it up then I'd say the alternator fan belt might be loose.

Go to your car after its have been sitting a while, do not get in, walk around and try to rock the car where the struts are, if the spring is rubbing on something or the padding under the spring worn out you should hear that. The onky other reason I can think of is a vacuum pump. Good luck.

wah?! sounds like a belt squeak ,not plenumn no way that dosent even move wouldnt go back there.go to ase master technician with exp.only way it could poss. be trans is if the noise is there while you are driving{ car is moving}.if noise is there while not moving {like after you turn the key } sounds like belt or a pulley that belt rides on{such as alternator or the a/c or waterpump] could also be belt tensioner is seized.tensioner basicaly keep belt on pulleys if siezed it will make the belt too tight or loose causing belt to wear and squeak.or belt is just shot ,good luck

A mouse........squeaks are extremely hard to diagnose without actually test driving the vehicle and performing trace and locate procedures. The best thing to do is to bring it to a dealer where they are familiar with your particular make of vehicle (dealership). They usually have a good idea of what the issue is if they have found the same problem previously with the same model. Good luck!!
