I listen on line and some programmes have "listen again" so it gives me a chance to search for programmes out of my area.

try radio 2 on a thursday night about 10pm, they change it regularly, but usually a comedy based show.

Radio 4 is where all the best ad-lib type comedy goes on. A lot of TV programmes started off on Radio 4 such as Dead Ringers, The Mighty Boosh, Ross Noble and Mitchell and Webb.
Try "I'm Sorry I haven't a Clue" and "The News Quiz".

Radio 2 on a Saturday 1pm - 2pm also does a great Comedy sketch show "out to lunch".

I'm Sorry I Haven't A Clue...Thats the name of the show. On Radio 4 Mondays about 6-30pm. Not on at the mo' but keep an eye (ear) out for it.

I'm sorry I haven't a clue is usually excellent.
Radio 4 at 1830 always has a comedy show, some good some bad.

Hmm... Just a Minute is probably amongst the best. The News Quiz is quite good too.

'I'm Sorry I Haven't A Clue' is still pure comedy genius even after 30 years :)
