I do, and sooner or later the truth will come out.

There is no war going on here. We are colonizing the sovereign state of Iraq for business purposes. We hired Saddam years ago, just the same as we hired Osama and for essentially the same reasons. We suspected that Saddam was making business moves independently of us for a few years. When King George stole the honky's chateau he made it personal for an attack on his daddy years ago. The people who run the country went along with it because now was the perfect opportunity to take back our business and displace the blame on our former employee, Mr. Hussein. If we withdraw now we will never be able steal their country again. Weep for the heroes in our armed forces who honestly believe they are fighting for a noble cause.
They need our support now more than ever, if we really want to support them we'll force the government to bring them home, but Americans listen to everything they hear and believe it 'cuz they are just that dumb.... So we will live in fear of our government and what it might say will happen until the day miracles of huge proportions are proved and Americans grow brains. Oil is a happy little side project, but think of what could happen to our business when we don't need to worry about intruding on another country's land at all... That was why we helped establish political boundaries and states in that region after WWI to eliminate the red tape... So we could go in and say we're doing business with another country and no one would say we were occupying an area that didn't belong to us and stealing the resources of an indigenous people oblivious to the bureaucracy of the business.

Not me. If cheap oil was the goal, there are obviously easier and cheaper ways to go about securing it. Before the war started we had, what, 250,000 troops in Kuwait? We could have declared war on them and declared victory five minutes later, without firing a shot.

There's a lot of domestic oil that's currently off limits. Why not just change a few laws, and drill domestically? Your belief implies that the President and his staff are clever enough to manipulate most of the world into accepting a war against Iraq. How could they be that smart, yet be unable to see the easier alternatives?

You need to stop accepting all the liberal propaganda at face value, and think things through to see if the accusations really make sense.

Oh yeah, all about oil. In thirty years when the infrastructure gets rebuilt and they can start exporting again to a country that has since moved on to hydrogen power. The profits will just be rolling in. Sure. And monkeys might fly out of my butt.

It is somewhat about oil, but it might not be the main thing. The army bases are located next to the oil fields where Halliburton is currently working on after all.

Indirectly, but not the oil itself. George Bush is an oil man and he and his family are invested in oil. I think this war was calculated when he called the ceo's of the large oil company's in to set energy policy. It was in the plan that if we attack a mid eastern country that it would cause turmoil in that region and that would raise the price of oil to record levels and anybody invested would reap the benefits of it. I would hate to think that 655,000 dead Iraqi, and 2800 dead Americans was a result of this decision, but I do.

It's a fact that the war is about oil and control, only the most NAIVE think otherwise. This also shows how much you can rely on the supposedly free media who are constantly feeding disinformation!

Not about oil in the beginning, but will be, if we cut and run, as Iran will control the world oil.

Do some research and find out exactly where our gas stations get their oil/gas. None of which comes from Iraq.

You are another victim of poor research and laziness. And if you have noticed, not even the liberal media says we get oil from Iraq.

I don't think so. If it were, Bush would want us to use more oil instead of asking us to find other sources.
