get some "bitter apple" at your local petstore. he won't like the taste, and will probably stop chewing it.

Gt him a female and get him neutered. H is ready to be neutered and this behaviour should calm down after the op. A girlfriend will give him something else to focus on as he is probably bored.Get a hutch at least 5' x 2 ' and a run 6' x 3'. Better this if you can. More time playing in a run along with a companion should stop him chewing and provide an apple branch for him too. Good luck.

Is he near any other animals that might be causing him stress? Maybe try giving him a larger hutch or letting him round around the garden to get more exercise more often? Otherwise, let's just hope he'll grow out of it. My rabbits dug a hole in the back of their hutch and escaped - I hope yours never gets this escapist.

he is probably chewing the hutch to help keep his teeth from getting too long. my rabbits do the same so get him some wood that has not been treated with insecticides or any chemicals, it may help but after all rabbits do continually to gnaw at things especially wood and make sure he has plenty of hay.

You need something for your rabbit to chew on or his teeth will grow and grow and grow! Rabbits chew down their teeth naturally. There are products in the pet stores that you can put up for your rabbit, like a wooden chew log and such.

Give your bunny some wood to chew on. Apple or pear twigs are great. Also keep carrots and celery available for him, rabbits like to chew.

rabbits need attention and lots of space. you can never keep one just in a cage. it needs to have a free run and lavish with hours upon hours a day of strokes and playtime with yourself.
They should be treated more like dogs and cats rather than a hamster, you cant keep them caged, they go insane from boredom.

Try giving the poor sod some decent grub. Lettuce leaves and raw carrots don't cut it for me either.

you could try putting some wood in his cage. he does that to keep his teeth from getting too long. if he does not do that his teeth can grow down into his bottom jaw, and he will starve to death cause he can't eat then.

Take him to the dentist, get his teeth removed. He'll get used to sucking carrots and they'll last longer too!!!
