Sorry, when fired you lose the benefits that goes with the job. Most companies don't offer vacation time until the anniversary date of your employment. You came close, only 10 days shy.

a) Your paycheck may have on it the accumulated vacation days.
b) Check w/ payroll if the paycheck does not.c
c) Check your employment contract. Some companies require you to vest(!) your pension ec. for a 1 year or more before they are valid.
d) Check w/ your union if you have one.
e) Check w/ your states Industry and Labor. If they don't handle the issue directly, they will refer you.
f) If this is a large enough company, you may find a lawyer who is willing to investigate it as a class action case for other such treatment of others.

Almost certainly not. It would also cost too much for you to fight it compared to what it is worth.

Another consideration for you is whether you were "Fired with cause" or laid off. This makes a difference whether you can apply for unemployment or not. This is potentially more money than the vacation, so you might look into that and fight that if you believe you were terminated without cause.
