The first movie combined the first 3 books. And it starred Jim Carrey. If he's not interested in doing more, there's no point in making more. I just checked IMDB, and Carrey is currently filming "Horton Hears a Who."

i think maybe because the actors playin the roles would get too old during filming of the next movie because theyre supposed to be 14/15 and the actors are 16-19 so they would be too old to play them and jim carrey maybe doesnt want to do a sequel

Because UNfORtunately the FIRST one was bloody AWFUL!!
Well, if they do come out with sequels, I'll probably see them.

cause if they start make lots of sequals it would kinda get borring like SAW.
