When I hand write "Return To Sender" the companies keep sending the mail. However, it is an inconvenience to go to the PO to get such a professional stamp.

I did not mean an official Federal PO stamp to commit fraud, just something to get them to stop sending other's mail. Do you think "Unknown", "Moved" or "Refused" is more effective?

Most office supply stores have a website, so does the USPS.
Unless the sender quarantees return postage, the envelope will just go the the "Nixie" (dead letters) file at the P.O.

You might also try opening the mail to see if there is a return envelope with postage--put everything into it and mail it back. The Sender must pay the return postage. When it costs them money, they'll quit.

Its illegal to use an official Post Office stamp if its not done at the post office. If you go to an office supply company though, you can buy one that simply says Return to Sender to save you writing it.

In my experience, the companies that keep sending it will keep sending it no matter if you write it or the Post Office stamps it because they can't be bothered changing the database. However, it may work better to give a reason, such as Unknown, Not at this address or Refused.

You do not want to open someone Else's mail that is against the law. You want to go to Staples, Kinko's and Office depot. They can make one for you or have one that is prepackaged. Unknown or moved are both effective.

Why don't you try Office Max or Staples?

I don't think there is "return to sender" stamp.
Your best bet is to write, "incorrect address" and/or "address unknown".
Or, you could contact the company directly and tell them about the incorrect address.
Good luck!
