MY period is only a day late, my cycle usually lasts about 32 days. I stress out about this alot because I am not financially ready for a child. Me and my partner always use condoms, and he pulls out. I'm not on birth control yet but I have a appointment in 4 days, and my MOTHER is comming with me. I'm only 18 years old, I wasn't ready to get into a sexual relationship yet, and I'm getting extremely stressed out. I have all the symtoms of being on my period but no bleeding. Someone please help me, I'm really afraid.

First of all, try not to stress! I know it's hard, but stressing out will only push back your period further.
I think it's very mature that you recognize you're not financially ready for a child. Does your partner know this also? If not, you need to sit down with him and have a serious talk. If you don't want to continue having sex, then don't. Just because you started to doesn't mean that it has to continue.
As to the doctor's appointment, how comfortable do you feel talking about this with your mother? You're 18, so able to make legal decisions on your own. If you'd rather talk to your doctor by yourself, ask your mom to wait in the waiting room. You need to have a frank discussion with your doctor about birth control, etc.

Good luck to you!

You may be pregnant. In early pregnancy, you may still have "period-like" symptoms, including some spotting or light bleeding. An early pregnancy test kit that you get at the pharmacy COULD detect your pregnancy already, or you may need a couple more weeks for pregnancy hormones to register --- so don't take "not pregnant" as the final answer if that's what the doctor tells you, for about another two weeks.

"Pulling out" isn't good enough because there is still sperm present from almost the beginning of intercourse. If you use condoms too, that's better, but they're not completely reliable. (See website below.)

Next time you have sex and you wonder if maybe something went wrong with the condom, don't hesitate to ask your doctor or pharmacist (depending on where you live (what country)) for a "morning after pill". This is a strong birth control pill you only take once or for a few days after sex when you fear your birth control has let you down (e.g. the condom has slipped or torn).

Good luck!

The chances of you being pregnant are next to none. If you have used a condom and your partner withdrew then you really have nothing to worry about. If you mother is going with you to get birth control, can you talk to her?

If you are not ready for a sexual relationship then don't do it! It's very easy to be talked into something like this but if your partner truly loves you he will understand that you are not comfortable with sex yet!

Stop stressing about being pregnant though, it really is highly unlikely.

Just do a test, not a shop bought one though, I used one of these and the result was negative but I was pregnant! My eldest daughter was only 17 when she found out she was pregnant and was terrified of telling me, but she has not committed a crime. She had to make her own decision as to keep the baby or terminate. I now have a beautiful grand-daughter and she has a wonderful mother. I'm really sure your Mum would understand its not the end of the world. I hope everything turns out well for you just try not to stress.

Dont worry and take a test. There is always ways to take care of your child. I wasnt financially ready to have a child, but we had one and now we are having our 4th. Babies are wonderful. JUst calm down and find out first if you are even pregnant.
