There is no original singer, because "On Marriage" was originally an instrumental...

The Six Parts Seven's Lost Notes for Forgotten Songs is as much a concept album as it is a "tribute" (for lack of a better term) to the Ohio based sextet, and what a concept it is: gather some credible indie songwriters and let them transform the band’s instrumental drawls into their own artistic visions.

“On Marriage” was "re-defined" by Jenn Ghetto (former Carissa's Weird leader) and Mat Brooke (also former Carissa's Weird, now Band of Horses) and the harmonized vocal melody and romantically bitter lyrics (“Broke her heart to just save mine/ I’ll love you on our wedding day/ It’s ok ‘cos she’s a slut and won’t forget our wedding day”) perfectly accentuate the desolate feel of Six Part Seven’s primordial vision.

I also noticed the the name listed next to the song on the album is not the singer, so... that may be the writer or the original artist.,. hope this helps
