Bright & glossy.
Pale frosty pink lipstick, or fuschia lip gloss. A slutty, glossy cherry red would also work.
Vibrant eye shadow colours, sometimes somewhat stripey -- blending colours wasn't so big. Frosted shadows are good.
Bright, noticeable blush. Slightly orange-y would be okay.
Coloured mascara -- navy was common, but almost every other colour showed up.

Do NOT forget your headband, please. (Terrycloth or twisted knit cotton around your forehead -- not a tasteful band holding your hair back.) Or your legwarmers.

Eyes: Bright plums,mauves,purples--very frosty and cool colors. Wing the colors out, and don't blend. Lots of eyeline under the eyes.
Streak the blush heavily under the cheekbones-dark bright plum.
Lipstick: Matte, bright, dark lipstick

Sorry to say it was masses of blue or green eye shadow.
Lots of mascara.
Blush that was not the least bit blended in.
Everything overdone.
Thankfully the '80s are over.

Bright colors, like hot pink blush or lip gloss. winged eyeshdaow, or eyeshadow applied from lash line, to brow line. blush was made it in reall obvious streaks across the face and up to the temples rather then being applied to the apples of the cheeks. the colors were candy bright, but were sheer.

Rust colored lip gloss and blush. Heavy eyeliner and mascara.
Wear your hair in a ponytail on the side, and you're set!
Are you wearing leggings and a leotard too?
