My dishwasher is not cleaning the dishes liked it used to...when I take the dishes out of the machine, there is a film of dried on crumbs on the dishes, even on the ones that weren't even that dirty. I've used the dishwasher additive to help make rinsing easier, but that doesn't help much either. Also, the jets on the blade look plugged up a bit with crap....how do I clean that out? Help?

Sounds like it might not be draining properly. Make sure it is emptying completely of all water everytime. I also got this problem when I STARTED USING CASCADE COMPLETE WITH RINSE SHIELD. I switche dto a different cascade and then put the citra shine(walmart) cleaner in w/ it and it cleaned everything up again.
Make sure your drain isn't clogged and that the hose leaving the dishwasher with the waste water goes up to the top of the dishwasher w/ a loop. One more thing to check is your actual drainpipe might be clogged and the dishwasher may not be the problem at all.

Run pure white vinegar thru you wash cycle a couple times. Just pour in bottom of washer an turn on. Use about 1 bottle (Qt) each time and then do this once every 2 months (1 bottle). It shouldn't take long before it's cleaned. If it's an older model you may need to replace it.

Try cleaning the jets out with a toothpick or tweezers. Also, when I was having problems with mine, one of the causes was disintegration of the hose that carried water to the arm with the jets on the top. Check that fitting and the condition of that tube/hose, if yours has one.

There's usually a filter in the bottom to catch food bits etc - find it and empty it.
