It's very hard for me, to decide what to get other people for Christmas, or any holiday. Especially for males. It's even harder without knowing him, or your budget.
I would suggest trying to think about something he mentioned wanting earlier in the year. Or think about his interests, versus what he's got. My boyfriend is a typical male in his early 20's, and likes video games. So I found the perfect gift int he form of a Playstation 3, which hasn't even been released yet - but will be released before Christmas. So I know he hasn't got it already, but I know he'll like it, too.
Does he like sports? Does he have a favorite team? If so, buy memorabilia dealing with that team. A former neighbor of mine knew her husband was a Green Bay packers fan, and she bought a TON of memorabilia, and decorated an entire spare bedroom with it. Everything from a TV with Packers stickers on the sides of it, to a bean bag chair, to penants, signed footballs, a small refrigerator with a Packers logo on it, etc. During the winter, he would actually watch his games in there, and would only leave to go to the bathroom during commercial breaks. She loved the peace and quiet it brought, when she could put a door between her, and his game!
Does your husband like power tools? Circular saws, chain saws, power drills, etc. work very well.
Is he a "city man" that wears cologne and polo shirts often? Buy him one of those.
Does he have a decent vehicle? Try accessories for it. Floor mats with some type of logo (okay, so my sister got this one - with tinkerbell), steering wheel covers, sun-shields, seat covers, chrome pieces, etc. My mom once bought my dad fog lamps for his truck because he does most of his driving at night, and he loved them. For pick-up trucks (which are becoming VERY common) try a bed liner, or cover.
You could also buy something for an "entertainment center" in the house. Big screen TV's, Stereo systems, surround-sound systems, maybe even a camcorder, or the actual entertainment center.
Does he spend a lot of time online? Try computer games, subscriptions to online games (like World of Warcraft), or various computer parts like a new printer. Maybe a digital camera, too.
I hope this helps...

1. Listen to him. If you two have good communication, he's probably told you many times things, places, activities he enjoys, or would like to have, or do.
2. If he has hobbies, then buy him something that will contribute to his hobby.
3. What people repeat the most is usually what interests them. Observe what he surrounds himself with in his personal space. You really have a lot of clues staring at you. Tune in.
Good Luck and Warm Wishes.

A skirt and a night gown???? Who are these hormonally imbalanced cretins that answered your questions.
Get him a pack of tickets for say 4 separate gamesfor whatever sport and team he likes best for it's upcoming season.

First what does he like. I got mine an autograph mounted picture of John Elway one year and he still loves it. Maybe a gift certificate to his favorite store. Leather Jacket with matching gloves.

It depends on what he likes. If he likes working and outside duties get him a mower or something. If he likes cooking get him a cooking set which includes a apron that says kiss the cook! It works every time!:)

A small present for each letter of his name, that represents an adjective for that letter for how you see him. For example, if his name is Mark, for M you could buy him a miniature violin (if he was musical and liked the violin).
