yes you can make sure it is the biggest tack you can find (i think some go up to 7") and please by all means place it on top the dash and make sure it is the only thing you see when you try to look out of the windshield dang yo that would be so ill every one will think you da boom yo even the cops will like you.

Hi It does seem weird But I`m a diesel manic. What I do is put the parking break on, my foot on the break and then hit the gas for 3 seconds. So I look up the stall stats. If it is supposed to be 2500rpms and the test shows 3500rpms , it has transmission problens, if it is 1000rpms it has motor problems. Cool eh

Sure. Go to any auto parts store or speed shop. The tachometer reads the engine's RPM's by how many times a spark plug fires.

Af course. Many automatics have tachs. I'm a bit surprised that you found an Integra that doesn't.

Yes. My brother's `75 Olds Cutlass has an aftermarket one and it was standard on my `96 Ford T-bird. Both cars are automatics.

My Q is Why do U need a tach on an auto since U don't need it 2 shift? Some late model van had one -huge- I don't know why! Yet, Some manual shifters Don't have tachs - isn't it "standard" equipment?
