I thought it was really good, someone else recommended it to me from here after i had read david pelzers 'my story'

No, I haven't but appreciate the feedback and will add it to my list of books to get and read. I answered re Q. re David Pelzer's story and know that you would like the Torey Hayden books.

I found it an excellent read.
I would recommend "My sister's keeper" by Jodie Piccoult.
