Just get a cheap one, just read it properly as some you have to use when you are late, and some can only be used in the morning.
Depends how soon you want to find out, I believe clear blue digital can be used 4 days before your period is due, but the are pricy!
With my first child it took one month, my second I got pregnant in the first week and my third took a month!
We are all different x
Good luck and hope you are pregnant x

Any of the tests will work just fine especially if you are pregnant. The test apparently detects a hormone or something that will not show up if you are not pregnant. So, if the test reads positive...You're pregnant. I'm not sure how often you will be taking the test. If this is something you will be doing weekly then maybe buy the cheaper generic tests. If it's a one time confirmation thing. Go for the name brand.
In regards to how long it will take. Everyone is so dramatically different. I wasn't even trying and on the pill when I had both of my kids and my friend went off the pill for two months, tried once after two months and was pregnant right away. Some women struggle. You never know. Good luck!

I like First Response because I was able too find out that I was pregnant without missing a period. I am now 35 weeks..

The best test that you can get and get 100% accuarate results would be a blood test from the doctors however home pregnancy test are also accurate but not 100% but close enough..

I got pregnant immediately because my pregnancy was planned and I made sure that I have sex while I was ovulating.

It took me a year to get pregnant.

What's the best test to use? This seems to change periodically! Some tests are well-liked and then a "bad batch" comes out, and some tests are known for being duds but then switch manufacturers and redeem themselves. See the HPT Overview section for current comments on each brand.

If you are trying to detect a pregnancy 13 DPO or earlier, you probably want to use a more sensitive brand. Anything that detects 25 mIU/mL of hCG (English: anything that detects a tiny bit of pregnancy hormone) is good for early testing. See the HPT Overview section to see which tests are most sensitive and the HPT Showdown for a real-life comparison of 15 brands.

Surprisingly, cheap tests purchased at dollar stores or on the Internet are often more sensitive and reliable than expensive store brands. HPT's are like soda: very cheap to make, and marked up quite a bit for retail.

I stick with either ept or clear blue easy! no generics on something this important! I tried for 2.5 years with my first, 17 months with my second pregnancy, and 1.5 months with my third! you get pregnant when you're supposed to! Just have fun trying. Having an orgasm helps in getting pregnant, it helps your body produce mucous that is semen friendly, and it also helps the cervix move lower and open more all of which help you to get pregnant, so Let your man know that if he wants a baby he needs to make sure you are both happy afterward! This is really true, my doc told me!

I think any kind work, I've took 2 of the dollar ones from the dollar store and both time they turned out right. But someone are different and over the counter pg test aren't accurate and end up having to have their blood drawn.

As far as tests I think that most of them are good. I have used EPT, store brand, and most of the others. It took me 5 years to get pregnant after we started trying. Just had a beautiful little girl 4 months ago! Good luck!

For the best early results test use Answer Early Results. It detects for the least amount of pregnancy hormone (hcg) in your urine. To see how much hcg is required for over the counter tests, go to www.peeonastick.com. They have a chart there that tells the levels needed for many different tests.

I used the AccuClear Pregnancy test its about $7.00. It has 2 test inside. I took one yesterday and this morning both were positive. I already knew I was preg though from symptoms but I think that AccuClear and First Response are a good choice.
