Are your smoke detectors checked regularly, batteries replaced every year?
Do you have an escape route practice with your family?
Do you have a fire extinguisher near by or several in the home and know how to use them?

At work we are always made very aware of safety at work or on sites. Do we do the same at home?
We should!!

All of the above. We have hard wired carbon monoxide and smoke detectors and stickers on windows to indicate our childrens rooms though they no longer are really young. We have fire extinguishers in the livingroom (we have a fire place) and basement. And although not practiced regularly, we have escape plans for each member of the family and they are well aware of them.

All batteries checked,have 3 exits in my condo,I will be fine at home.
At work...I'm gonna be focked....am in a room without windows and the door to the hallway is a mile away from the exit.lol
