I really like this one kid and he's going to ask me to the dance but my parents wont let me go!?

This really nice kid is gonna ask me 2 the dance and my parents arent letting me go. i afraid that he wont like me if i say " no i cant go cause my parents wont let me." it sounds stupid and babieish!Pleaz Help!

You know, whinning will get you nowhere. Now that's really childish and imature. Ask him to come over to your house and let your parents take a good look at him. Perhaps they'll change their mind. And if you still can't go, then you can't. There's no point in trying to sneak out of the house. Tell the guy you really can't, if he thinks the answer is stupid, then you can forget about him.

If your parents meet him they may change their mind. But it's also okay to tell him your parents won't let you go. If he can't accept what your parents say then he's not worth it. A boy who respects the girl's parents is much better than one who doesn't. If you both show your respect then your parents may trust you more.
