Why is the American government killing so many people?

Is this a democratic choice, mob rule or is the US ruled by the the next Hitler?

Interim Feedback; I am not american and this is a question, not a statement. Reinterated, why is the US giving the Jews weapons to kill the Palestinians and why are Americans killing the Iraqi people. In other words; how are such decisions made in America? This is not a value statement.

That is a bating question. American government is not killing so many people as you think. Get out of you shell and learn something new, from a creditable source. You may find out, American government is not perfect, but it is not as you present it either. Look up Darfur and see how more than 4 million people has already been killed and still counting. Maybe you can do something about that at least.

I'm not saying we're on our way to having the next hitler come into charge of the USA, but once government starts repealing liberties and freedoms as they have in the time since 9/11, we have move further toward a totalitarian state than we have embraced democratic rule. If the government tries to impose more restrictions on civil liberties/freedoms/rights, I think we have very serious cause to be worried.

It is a democratic choice. Our troops would not be deployed anywhere if it wasn't for the authority of the United States Congress. Period. If you think the U.S. is being ruled by "the next Hitler", then it is your responsibility to do something about it.
Being that we are in a WAR, any casulities are wartime casulities. It is not like our troops are just randomly killing people. They are defending themselves and trying to bring peace to the people of Iraq.
I can't believe that you would even consider calling the president "the next Hitler" What about Clinton during his interview with Chris Wallace, I tried to kill him, I had a lot of people trying to Kill him" in reference to UBL. Does it sound like Clinton would have had him killed if could have found him? Yes! So whats the difference? A Life is a life, no?
And what is with the cvil liberties garbage people are talking about. What average american citizen has had any of his rights taken away, by our "totalitarian" government? Produce one! who has lost their rights since 9/11.

That is exactly the problem, we are being ruled instead of led. That is the basis of rationalizing the deaths of 655,000 Iraqi, and 2800 Americans, and the wounding of many, many more. I wouldn't call it democracy as both the elections that put this ruler in place was fraudulent. The repuglicans that are in power only seem like the mob, actually they are not as well organized.
