About $100,000

You can pretty much expect to spend $25,000 a year to go to school, unless it's a state school and then it can be as cheap as $10,000 a year.

It really depends upon where you live, and where you want to go! Colleges/Universities have sliding fees, based upon your residency; if you live locally to the school, it's cheaper (that supposedly gives locals the best chances to get a good education), if you live within the state, but outside the community, it's a bit more... and if you live within the country, it's a bit more... international students pay the most tuition! The rest (yeah, no matter how much your chosen school is) is somewhat subsidised by the Fed Govt. Best absolute deal is to find a local community college, with a good rep, that has a transfer aggreement with a four year institution!

East Coast Colleges cost alot more than midwest or western colleges... and it varies widely among southern institutions. Where are you from now? Where to you plan on going to school? Would you like to establish residency in the community where you are going to school, so that you only have to pay local tuition fees?
