Good question, it depends on the year, make, & model.
Early models are great, if you can still find parts, later models are ok to a certain degree, but not meant to last like the old days.
New models don't have a reputation yet, & may be impossible to work on yourself. Advise you check out Consumer Reports, Car & Driver etc., or find a site where ford owners swap stories, Good Luck

...or....... going out on a limb (for you Nascar fans)
First On Race Day
but seriously, fords have gotten a lot better quality wise and reliability wise. I, however, would not own a ford when you can get a honda, toyota, nissan, or a subaru (especially a subaru) for about the same price, maybe slightly more, and have it last for 300,000 miles!
I guess "imports" are big in Europe..... e.g. Fords and Chevys.

any vechicle is reliable, if you take proper care of it. Keep this in mind, the word that will be edited starts with a T.
If it's got **** or tires your gonna have a problem with it!
My 95 just hit 200,000 and I have never had it in the shop ever.
