like when i had AOL(which stinks!) so when i get mail,hilary duff,will say,"Hey you got mail!" and i got franky munis,will say"dude,you finally can to the computer!" and i really want one of those in my computer in yahoo.

Plus, if you want to make your own sounds. Then click START, ALL PROGRAMS, ACCESSORIES, Entertainment, SOUND RECORDER. If you have a mic you can record your own voice. Just hit record and talk! Or if you want to use part of a song then just start playing the song, with Sound Recorder still up, and hit record and the part of the song you want. Stop when you're done. Now, SAVE the .wav file you just recorded (you can listen first to make sure you like it) and it should save with your other sounds. Now go to Control Panel, then Sounds (as instructed by Lesaber25 above and you can assign your sound to any function. Example, I used to have my computer play the first part of 'Welcome To The Jungle' everytime it first came on. lol Or when you close a program out you could have it say/sing something appropriate ... Have Fun! :-)

Start, Control Panel, Sounds and Audio Devices then Sounds.
Pick which function on the list at the bottom and insert a saved sound wav address (URL) instead of the default Windows sounds.
