Tiger barb are easy to sex the male will be brighter and his nose will be orange the female should be a little bigger and not as bright her fins could even be clear her nose should have brown where the males is orange they will start breeding once they pair off and when the female is good a fat with eggs the male will begin chasing her and sometimes bumping her. then as the female "RUN'S" She will release her egg's the male comes behind and fertilizes them. you should put the matted pair in a tank of there own after spawning the adults should be removed immediately or they will eat there egg's it should take about 3 to five days to hatch the eggs will be a yellow brown color hope this helps Lott's luck to ya
