How to play the harmonica?

I just got a "g" diatomic harmonica and i cant figure out how to play single notes. I know there is the pucker method and the tounge method but i dont understand how to do them. im trying to play "heart of gold" by neil young

pucker is to make your lips like you will whistle and that will narrow the exit of air from your mouth, tongue method, would be to find the individual space and blow through it.
