Of course I support the war on terror. Keeping our homeland borders safe is extremely important. I didn't read your link, and probably won't. There are flaws with how we control operations in regard to keeping terrorists at bay. So, yes, I would agree in the sense that as a nation we need to do a better job of not spying on our own citizens, profiling people (easier said than done) and not going with the guilty until proven innocent mentality that has come with keeping the USA safe from outside attackers (or internal ones, how's Tim McVeigh doing these days?) Although I hold moderate to conservative views, I am not so set in my ways that I can't agree that our time in Iraq is passed, we need to fix our own domestic problems and foreign policy before we can go back out and "help" other countries. We're wasting an obscene amount of money rebuilding a country that isn't close to being finished with their own civil strife and those billions would be spent better here on American soil.

I do believe we need to be concerned about terrorism but what's going on now isn't a war on terror, it's a fabricated war in Iraq and I most certainly do not support our goverment. We are radically distracted by it, allowing terror cells to grow in other countries and are consequently not fighting a war on terror.

I always support our troops.

I have read this before. If it were true, how many of them were shooting at our soldiers and do you actually believe that it is policy for our military to intentionally kill innocent civilians? I would have to say that the terrorists,(our enemies) would need to be held at least equally responsible. Also, the fight between the Sunnis and Shiites is responsible for many deaths. But, I have seen reports form other RELIABLE sources that the death toll was less than half of this 655,000 figure. I SUPPORT THE WAR ON TERROR and I would tell you that if you believe EVERYTHING you read that you should not read.

Everyone supports the war on terror, except the terrorists. Or terrorist supporters. Or traitors. Or some one that wants to see more Americans die.

We have created a worse war by going into Iraq. More terrorists have joined the cause because of us. We should have gone after Bin Laden instead of going into Iraq. Support the troops. Bring them home.

You confuse the war on terror with the war in Iraq.....each has nothing to do with the other.

no,, because the terrorists can't make Americans change their religious beliefs,, that's what fiscal, neo, social conservatives fear,, that their belief in God can be destroyed,, how great is the Devil that the little children shall fear him for all eternity,, live eat and sleep fear,, until all hope is gone,,, sounds like N Korea,,,,,,,,,
drug smugglers are winning the war on drugs on the Mexican border,, the US border patrol can do little but keep the killing to a minimum,, the National Guard are few and far in-between,, and yet

no, for one thing there IS NO WAR! egads just like clinton changed the definition of sex,Bush has changed the definition of war...To have a war it must be declared by congress...and you MUST have a specific grouporcountry your supposed to be at WAR with.... not just say war on drugs, war on education, waron crime, war on terrorism...all sound like a 12 yr olds ranting... and trying to make us all believe they realy want to dosomething, when in fact, the motives have NOTHING todo with these WARS! When in fact its our liberties being taken away daily, along with our hard earned dollars, look at how many have fallen into the trap of believing this! If you say its a war 1000000 times they will finally believe you...even if it isnt..just look at themany that believe its a war when in fact...it isnt..
